Different people are motivated differently in order to lose weight. Some would try losing weight because they are motivated to look better and would like to be able to wear the clothes they like. Some are motivated to lose weight for health reasons. Some are motivated to lose weight by their families so they can be healthier and live longer. There are so many reasons how and why a person is motivated to lose weight, but whatever the reason is, it proves to be beneficial to the person losing weight.

A popular American show called “The Biggest Loser” is about individuals who have been struggling with their weight and they will lose weight through out the show with the help of their trainers and teammates. When watching the show, one cannot help but feel for the people there since they all share their stories about their life and what motivates them to lose weight. They would often say in their testimonials that without the help of their trainers, family and friends, they won’t get through all the hard work.

Trainers also motivate the cast in different ways depending on the person. They usually have a talk with them and ask reasons why they wanted to start losing weight. Once they know, they will use this as a form of motivation. For instance, they will tell the person endure a specific challenge or task since losing weight will mean that they can play with their children since before, they are too heavy to play with their children.

Well, no matter how the people around you motivate you to lose weight, it will always boil down to you. The best motivator is yourself so when you start trying to lose weight, you have to always tell yourself to persevere and endure all the hard work you have to do. Always motivate yourself and surely, at the end, you will be very proud of yourself when you reach your goal.
