Eating a Healthy Breakfast

Today I am going to talk about a very important issue. That is breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is because it is a start of a day and a healthy breakfast will give us a new renewed energy for the day whether it is at work, at school or at play. That means to stay healthy never compromise breakfast.

To eat a good breakfast, it is important to brush your teeth and comb your hair so that you will enjoy your breakfast even more. It is better to choose food that is easily prepared, so that you will have enough time to eat your food without rushing.

Now let me now recommend you what are the food that I think would be a healthy and well balanced breakfast. This list is definitely not complete, but I believe just taking this few food I recommend can surely make you healthier.

Milk- Who can forget milk? The staple food of our generation for as long as we can remember. It is very important that every growing children drink milk every day. Milk can be added into cereal like oats which will really taste well. Milk can also be added into coffee and tea.

Cereals- Cereals are perfect food. It gives us energy to carry out our daily activities. And most of all it is low in fat

Fruit- Fruit are one of the best food that we human should eat more to stay healthy. And breakfast is the best time to consume them. Fruits rich in Vitamin C like oranges and papaya should be consumed often. If time permit you can make fruit salad for breakfast too.

Protein food- Eating protein food is necessary to not only build up your body, but to also repair worn out tissues. The best protein food is of course eggs which is easy to prepare. However try to avoid eye yolk if possible as they can be high in cholesterol. However if you have to consume them do so in moderation.

Bread- Bread is one of the favorites breakfast foods as it is cheap and requires no cooking. Bread contains carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The type of bread I would strongly recommend is wholemeal bread. Wholemeal bread is bread in its purest form with all the necessary nutrients and minerals. Wholemeal bread is more nourishing than white bread. I will further discuss this topic in a another post.
