Adopting healthy habits
- Reading books related to your problem. This helps to provide an understanding and more information on the problems which can be important for yourself.
- Eating the correct and relevant diet for your body type .This helps to maintain blood sugar levels. Foods, which promote serotonin production, can be increased e.g. bananas, pumpkin pips. Stimulants which increase anxiety should be avoided e.g. coffee, colas, chocolate and all caffeinated drinks. Vitamin supplements may be useful if you are very run down ..
- Sleeping sufficiently – but not too much, at least 8hours a day.
- Exercise – begin gradually and slowly increase the intensity and amount of time spent exercising. Exercise promotes the release of the body’s natural opiates which improve mood(positive thinking). Being out in the fresh air and with people helps to put a different perspective on problems.
- Relaxation – to decrease tension and anxiety and to improve sleep. E.g. Pilate’s, yoga, aromatherapy, facial massage, Indian head and neck massage.
- Hobbies/interests – which help to occupy the mind and decrease pre-occupation with negative thoughts.
- Regular breaks/holidays
- Life-style changes – expecting less of oneself; maybe lowering standards a little; delegating; asking for assistance.
- Avoid alcohol, drugs and cigarettes – these often worsen negative thinking and anxiety.

I am a Health and Wellness managing member of my company called MODITUMI trading enterprise. We deal with Health, Beauty and Hair. I go to local schools and companies to promote healthy lifestyle, this is to encourage kids to start eating healthy from a young age and to grow up knowing about the culture of healthy living. I believe in teaching people about taking a 40 day diet (this can be forever but 40 days is just a start to train your mind)of positive thinking. You eliminate all negative thinking and fill your mind with only positive and beautiful thoughts. A man is what he thinks. If you think you are fat and ugly that is exactly what you will see and project to people. Low self esteem and all the other negative feelings will soon follow suite. Eating correctly and including all the nutrients in your diet is also one of the ways I believe people should do to eliminate obesity. Mixing fruit and vegetables in your diet is a way to go. You know the saying “ONE APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOCTOR AWAY” There is nothing as true as that, stick to that and you will never have health problems again.Money will be saved on daily consultations and illnesses.
