Many times after working all day and driving the kids to different functions and then going to pick up groceries, cleaning the house, it is easy to lose motivation to do any sort of physical activity. 1. Reward yourself with non food rewards that you will look forward to and enjoy. It can be something like a new book or clothing. Maybe a day of just laying in bed watching movies. Have a goal such as each five pounds you lose you will treat your self to some pleasurable experience.

Keep track of your progress by using a spread sheet or diet exercise journal, the idea that keeping a eye on your progress will keep you motivated because you will see your work is bearing fruit!look back at how far you have come and you will less likely not revert back to old bad eating habits. If you keep careful records, you will be able to make adjustments if you slip up. 3. Don’t let people get you off track. There usually will be friends and family and co-workers that will encourage you to go off your diet, Just this once for what ever the situation. Dont’! If you are getting this type of pressure, try to plan non food functions with friends and family. Stay away from office pot luck parties and other functions where you will be tempted. Bring low calorie health snacks to work. If you go out to lunch or dinner, try to eat a healthy snack before you go so you can have strength not to give in to others persuasions.
