Now I know there are not many of us who can add 10 to 20 miles of daily walking  to our lifestyle. But if we eat a healthy diet and walk 1 to 3 miles a day while adding resistance exercise to our weight loss program we will decrease our risk of many diseases as well. We can reduce the risk of every major disease by adding a brisk walk to our daily lives.

I recently read a cartoon caption that had the patient saying to the doctor, “I can not add one hour of walking to my busy schedule each day.” The doctor replied, “maybe you can fit being dead 24 hours a day into your schedule. The choice is yours.”
The choice is ours. Whether we add walking to lose a few pounds or for your health, we must get in shape and eat a healthy diet plan.
