Good morning everyone, now tell me truthfully how many times have you or your partner or kids for that matter skipped breakfast? Really? Look you already know that it is imperative that you eat breakfast everyday. The reality is we tell ourselves we do not have time or we are not hungry, or any other silly excuse.

I believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day and as such should never be missed. So plan ahead and either prepare your breakfast from the night before or just make the time each morning to prepare and eat a healthy nutritious breakfast.

I think of it this way, our bodies need fuel to fire up for all the functions they will perform each day, so how can we then deprive them of this very fuel, when we have not eaten since the night before? You know what you need to do, so just do it.

Ingredients are as follows.

4 kiwi fruit, 2 bananas, 1 red papaya, 1 passion fruit, juice of half an orange, low fat yoghurt.

To prepare fruit salad, to start with peel the kiwi fruit and bananas and chop into bite sized pieces. Cut the papaya in half, scoop out seeds, peel and chop into bite sized pieces. In a bowl combine the chopped fruit with the pulp from the passion fruit and the squeezed orange juice. Now just serve with some low fat yoghurt and enjoy. This recipe serves 4 to 6.
